Hani Steamfood @ Puchong

It was with great pleasure that we are back again for 2nd time at Hani Steamfood! Craving for healthy steam seafood or if you're looking for a family gathering with senior citizen I would recommend this place.

Soy Kampung Chicken. Nowadays so difficult to taste a good kampung chicken in KL and the meat was so tender and juicy.

Signature Water Spinach. The Ying Yang sauce was good.

Kam Hiong Fried Lala. The size of the Lala was huge and it blend so well with Kam Hiong sauce. Not to be afraid as it is not too spicy.

Here comes the main starring. Steam Tiger Prawn! In progress.....In progress....

Just after a few minutes, you will hear beep beep sound and the steamer then automatically goes up. Tadaa~!

If you're a Petai lover, they served good quality Petai Sambal here too. Do take note it is seasonal.

Steam Fish

Here is another highlight of the night. All the sauce that flows out from the steamer will be transferred down to this pot of goodies. Flower Crab porridge.

Wondering what's these little triangle thingy here? Its Steam Nian Gao! You know the kuih we had during CNY? Steamed perfectly with Banana leaf fragrant.

Steam Nian Gao then mixed with fresh coconut and its the perfect dessert to wrap up the night.

A very special thanks to Dato Teong the owner of Hani Steamfood for his sharing for the night. It was a great eye catching experience. This place is huge it could accommodate up to 250 guests with ample of parking spaces too and it is a standalone lot. Do check out this place for coming CNY dinner. A small note too, Hani Steamfood is Muslim friendly.

Foo Hing Dim Sum @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

What good food that can encourage you to wake up early? As in super early? As early as 6.30am? Yes, it is Dim Sum!
You can easily locate 4-5 Dim Sum Restaurants in Bandar Puteri Puchong area and Foo Hing is the latest addition that stands out with huge crowd daily.

I apologize that I was too hungry that I couldn't wait for the rest of the Dim Sum for a happy family picture but Hey, aren't these are good enough?

Let me provide you a breakdown of what we tried and the ratings. At least 9 varieties for 2 of us!

Porridge - Good
Egg Tarts - Good *Recommended*
Bacon Roll - Average
Yam Puff - Average
Salad Prawn - Good
Siew Mai - Average
Fried Fish Ball - Good
Xiu Long Bao - Average
Pan Fried Lobak - Good *Recommended*

Foo Hing occupied 2 shop lots (Aircond & Non Aircond) and yet we need to wait for tables. I guess they win over their guest heart for their freshness, varieties & speedy service.

Lao Dao Pork Noodle @ Bandar Puchong Jaya

Being a pork noodle lover, Ah Or Pork Noodle House at Sunway Mentari has always be my hot favourite! Then, spotted this "Lao Dao" Pork Noodle at Bandar Puchong Jaya (Opposite RT Pastry Cake House) and of course we went in for a try!

Dry Lou Shee Fun has always be my top noodle option for Pork Noodle! Generous amount of minced pork and we added fish paste and it turns that the fish paste tasted better than its minced pork.

In conclusion, Ah Or Pork Noodle is still my all time favourite. Will somehow give it another shot one day to try their soup version or seafood version.

Goreng Kuey Teow Tong Shin @ Bandar Puteri Puchong

It has been so long and when we missed char kuey teow so badly in KL, we headed to Puchong! If you're looking for a "wok hei" type of char kuey teow, you should try this!
Imagine when you have a sudden craving for char kuey teow and you can't be driving all the way to Penang, that is where Goreng Kuey Teow Tong Shin could help to quench your thirst.

I guess the picture says it all? Aren't the chinese sausages are too lovely to be munched? Generous amount of pork lard added into it.

My next favourite here - Chinese Fried Rice. Very flavorful fried rice with chinese sausages, prawn & fish cake.

Just in case if you're a non lover of both fried rice and char kuey teow, they also served loh mee, prawn mee and pork noodle here. I would recommend the loh mee & prawn mee and their signature popiah is good too!

Moonlight Cake House @ Puchong Jaya

Spotted this bakery in Puchong Jalan Kenari that is famous of its signature durian cake that everyone shared on Facebook. 3-storey shoplot with ground floor as its bakery and the rest as cafe. The smell of coffee fragrant actually first attracted my attention. Next, it will be their varieties of mille crepe cakes. Tried their Oreo crepe because Nadeje do not have this flavour, turned out to be good!

Hot Latte - RM13

Baked Fish Rice - Their coffee and pastry were good but they must improve on their food taste if they strive for long term survival for their cafe

Spring Onion Pizza - Yo! My favourite back in Taiwan trip! Moonlight improvise on this taiwan snack by adding cheese to its flavour! Definitely will come back for more at only RM2.7 per piece!

Shi Yue Tian Claypot Chicken Rice @ Puchong Jaya

Just when we were struggling what to eat on a saturday weekend, I googled for Puchong Top 10 Restaurant and was directed to this "Shi Yue Tian Claypot Chicken Rice" restaurant.
It was not being typical serving only claypot chicken rice and steam soup, it also served varieties of noodles and dishes.

What's best to serve together with claypot chicken rice other than steam soup! We ordered Chinese Old Melon and Lotus Root Peanuts soup. Both boiled together with spare ribs and chicken feet.

Green Vegetables

There comes the main character! With added salted fish and chinese sausage. My family commented that it tasted so so but I somehow enjoyed the flavorful rice and marinated chicken. That is why I always say different people have different preferences and this is very subjective. *Just follow your heart*

Location: 3.5/5 *Due to many eateries around, we need to make a few turns before we could secured a parking spot which is walking distance from the restaurant*
