Sekinchan Seafood Food Stalls @ Redang Beach Sekinchan

This new year, we went to Sekinchan for seafood again! I know new year was like 2 months back and I could just skip this post but this seafood is something that you should not miss!
Back in 2 years ago, Sekinchan famous Redang Beach was relatively quiet but today in 2017, it has totally changed! Redang Beach is now so happening and one of the hot spot for tourist in Sekinchan apart from the Padi Field and Rice Factory.
They now have so many food stalls (Seafood, Drinks, Ice Cream and Fried Snacks) and of course we had our seafood craving there. Check out the pictures below:

Stir Fried Chili Scallop - The scallop was so fresh! Simple dish but I can't stop munching on the juicy scallop.

Fried Lala Omelette - We ordered shrimp and lala for this omelette and it tasted so gooooddd! Simply just eat it with their homemade sambal belacan chili.

Chili Squid - One word "Fresh"!

Kam Heong Lala - The sauce was very spicy and flavorful but disappointed with most of the empty shell. You may give this a miss because you can still have this is KL.

Kam Heong Mantis Prawn - Wow! This blown me away! At first, I was quite reluctant to try as I was too lazy to peel off the shell but once I tried one, could not resist it. Very fresh and very spicy.

Fried Fish Wantan & Fried Prawn Cake - Ordered from the next stall for the kids. Very good too, perfect for 4pm tea.

A very fruitful 2 hours drive to Sekinchan with this cheap and affordable seafood galore. However, WARNING the weather in Sekinchan can be extremely hot! Please also bare in mind that it is a food stall by the beach, not too windy and it can be very hot munching your food around the area.

Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee @ Uptown

Anyone would like to gain some calories tonight?? Lets head to Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee! Many has recommended Ah Wah Hokkien Mee at Jalan 222 but I would much prefer Uptown's one. So, what is so good about this Malaysian's favourite supper? Check out the pictures below:

2 Portion of Hokkien Mee and do not judge by its yellow noodle black sauce appearance as one sip of the noodle with the belacan chili sauce can goes so well! Extra pork lard anyone?

Add on Kam Heong La La. It would be nice if the lala is fresher. But, its alright I am here for their hokkien mee, lets give this side dish a break.

Another good thing here is there is also a stall selling roast duck. Sold out very fast! You won't be able to grab one after 9pm.

Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee has always be my favourite but due to health reason, no longer consume so much of this. Ain't young anymore but hey, once in a blue moon aren't it will be a good motivation for exercise after a plate of Hokkien Mee? Try it and you will know. They open from 5pm till late midnight.
